Preconditions and environment

  • Magento version 2.4.7 -p3
  • Luma theme

Steps to reproduce

  • Install Magento Open Source 2.4.7-p3
  • Go to the Checkout Page with at least one product in the cart.
  • Inspect any text input field in the Shipping Address form (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Street Address).
  • Add the enterkeyhint="next" attribute to any input field (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Street Address)
  • Attempt to press the Enter key to trigger the behavior specified by the enterkeyhint attribute.

Expected result

The enterkeyhint attribute should work as intended:

  1. The browser should display the correct hint for the Enter key action (e.g., Next).
  2. Pressing the Enter key should move the focus to the next input field, aligning with the enterkeyhint attribute value.

Actual result

The enterkeyhint="next" attribute does not work.
Does not move focus to the next input field.
