Linking to .mw files from other notes

What would you like to be added?

It may be that this is a small bug for me, but it could also be a feature yet to be incorporated.

I would like to be able to link to the .mw file in other obisidan notes like [[Example_Timeline.mw]]. Currently for me, [[Example_Timeline.mw]] and [[Markwhen/Example_Timeline.mw]] do not link to the markwhen file.

Why is this needed?

Ideal integration into Obsidian, at least in my opinion! Linking between notes is an essential part of Obsidian's functioning, and it would really improve the markwhen plugin to be able to do this.
