I was wondering if there is a timeline for the sampling functionality in Claude Desktop?

Plus one on this, Sampling sound really awesome and powerful. The idea of requesting a completion from the server would really help my use case.

This is something we want to support, but because it basically turns the application into an API, it opens up many cans of worms, as I'm sure you can imagine. 😄

We hope to get there, but it won't be as easy as just writing the code and shipping it.
