Expected Behavior

In case an inverter is offline shortly (e.g. network outage, device reboot), the thing is going to offline / comm error. Once the device is available on the network again, the thing should go online / connect again.

Current Behavior

Thing is staying in offline. A reconnect can be triggered by pausing and reenabling the thing in openhab's interface.

Possible Solution

Try a reconnect periodically.

Your Environment

  • Version used: openHAB 4.3.x
  • Operating System and version (desktop or mobile, Windows 10, Raspbian Buster, ...): latest openhabian on Raspberry Pi5
