[QUESTION] I need assistance in fine tuning this application. I have already created the site and have published it on Teams #871
Comments
@Rashmi-Sharma25 if you have a question about the application feel free to ask in this issue. This doesn't provide any information so I can't assist you. |
@Rashmi-Sharma25 I don't understand what you are asking. Are you asking how to create the Teams personal app or are you asking how to embed the web part in the page? The screen shots show the web part configured to show just the Adoption Tools. |
I need help in building similar webpart. This is already configured for a tenant. I am configuring the same for another tenant. |
Can we connect on a teams meeting session? |
@Rashmi-Sharma25 we do not provide individual support or meetings for Learning Pathways. If you need help installing the web part in another tenant then you need to follow the installation instructions. The Teams app you will need to create yourself but if you have it running in one tenant then you should be able to export or copy the values from the tenant where it is working from the Teams app studio. Then you would edit the values in the manifest to reflect the correct URLs in the new tenant. |
This is the package I am using. Can you please check if it is correct. It is only adding tabs O365, Teams and Onedrive but not other tabs. Could you please test it on your end. ---Update from Admin--- |
@Rashmi-Sharma25 I removed the file from your comment because it contained personal info for your tenant. That said, you are using the old Team App. That is no longer supported and uses and old version of the Teams Manifest so it can not be imported. You can take the URLs in the manifest file and create a new Teams app in the Teams Developer Portal app. Then you can add the tabs in the user interface and point it to the new site urls. |
What I am doing is I am importing this manifest in the developer portal. I really need to know where can I configure the user interface. Right now I am on URL: https://dev.teams.microsoft.com/. Is there is diff place where I hsould do. Do you have documentation that I can follow or an article. |
You are correct the manifest I am using that is 4 years old. |
I would like to know in manifest there is entity ID, how exactly is that decided. |
@Rashmi-Sharma25 The entity ID is a unique ID for the tab you are creating. It can be anything you want. If you use the Developer Portal App in Teams it will create one for you that is a GUID. |
